This is NOT a typical adult colouring book.
Once you are finished colouring the design, it can be cut out and displayed as an amazing ColourBox artwork. ColourBox Creation mandala art therapy is the deliberate use of art-making to address psychological and emotional needs. Once completed it allows you to return to a mindful state simply by viewing your finished artwork.
The Celtic Knots used in our ColourBox creation exemplifies the timeless nature of spirit and speaks of birth and rebirth in both the physical and spiritual realm. Our Celtic knot mandalas enhance the ability to see how life decisions and actions affect those around you. It also sharpens understanding of your connection to your ancestors. The Celtic spiral represents our spiritual awareness and understanding. Colouring these is a way to enhance positive energy and use that energy with others. The Triquetra (three-cornered) emblem represents the holy trinity. Colouring these Celtic designs unites the mind, body and spirit. You get to experience a sense of peace and becoming one with the universal energy source.
This fun mandala art therapy uses art media and the creative process to help in areas such as, self-expression, coping skills, stress management , and strengthening sense of identity. Mandala art therapy has provided mental health treatment for clients who have experienced trauma, grief & loss, depression, chronic illness, substance abuse, and more.
According to Neuroscience, the process of colouring these mandalas is as effective in reducing anxiety, stress, combating depression, reducing pain, and lowering blood pressure as is viewing your coloured displayed artwork. The intent of both stages is to centre the mind and body, which is why they are an ideal tool for meditation. These mandalas are designed to help you become free from your worries. Each time you colour our special designed templates focusing on the present moment becomes easier.
The depth of mindfulness and peace you experience while colouring will return simply by looking at your finished mandalas.
We have included a link for a specific music playlist to deepen your experience while you colour your mandala.
