About this Item
This mix of five coloring and play books from the Whitman Publishing Company and the Merrill Publishing Company date from the early 1950's. They vary in size but all are in very good condition and considering their page and the paper qualities used in their construction they might be seen as even better than very good. The paper covers are all bright and clean and are all firmly bound and secure. There is very little damage or wear to the paper inside and out, with very little corner wear to be seen amongst the five. Out of the five books, only two books have any coloring done in them, totaling ten pages for the five books, with three books showing no coloring at all. The Lone Ranger coloring book with the date 1951 and the Whitman Busy, busy Paint Book showing 1958 showing no coloring and the Whitman book with just one page partially cut out. The Whitman book has a number of tracing paper inserts still very intact. The two Merrill published books dated 1947 and 1954 have only one page colored between them and are extra nice. The Lone Ranger book is unmarked and virtually in near fine condition. Seller Inventory # 1505-540
