Good. A 1998 Word Publishing hardcover with the original dust jacket present. The jacket shows light scuffing and minor edge wear, and carries a blue circular price dot on the upper right of the front panel; this is a retail price sticker, and no library stamps, card pockets, date-due slips, spine call-number labels or withdrawal markings are present anywhere in this copy. There is a heavily crossed-out marking in black marker on the first blank endpaper - it appears to have been a signature, inscription or former owner's name and has been deliberately redacted to the point of being completely illegible. Interior pages are clean and bright with no highlighting or other writing visible in the pages inspected, and the binding is tight and intact. The print line runs to 1, indicating a first printing.

Store description
For 15 years I've been an Oregon CPA, and for 10 of those I taught tax and accounting at the college level. But my proudest work has nothing to do with numbers: I homeschooled my daughter from preschool through freshman year and in September she will be starting the 10th grade - homeschooling. This season taught me a good book can shape how a child sees the world. Every title I choose has to engage young minds to think critically and navigate this world with real understanding. Every book has a story — but it only means something when a child lives it. Why Papa Duck? I was "Uncle Duck" to my nieces and nephews for years — duck pictures fill my office, Mallards are my favorite. When my grandson arrived last year, the family asked what he'd call me. There was only one answer. CPA by training, teacher by calling, homeschool dad by experience, Papa Duck by love.…
