Print on Demand. This book urges a new approach to sustaining the unity of the growing British Empire. The author argues that Britain should abandon its policy of indifference and neglect toward its colonies, and instead establish a more equitable relationship that recognizes the colonies' importance to the empire as a whole. The author proposes a system of federation that would give the colonies a greater say in the governance of the empire, and suggests ways to make emigration to the colonies more attractive to Britons. He believes that by working together, the British Empire can maintain its strength and prosperity, and avoid the dangers of disunity and decline. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
