An elementary grammar of Egyptian colloquial Arabic. An owner's name and forces number on the first page and again (the same name) on the title page, show that this was the copy of D G Evans, serving with 57 Field Regiment RA. The regiment was based in North Africa from 1942 to 1943. Card covers with stapled page block glued inside. A browned, tatty copy. The spine has been repaired with clear tape, and everything is holding. The staples have rusted, with some leakage onto a few of the pages. There are some annotations in various parts of the book, on the last page, and on the rear cover, but nowhere is the text obscured.iv, 144 pages. Size 19.7 x 13.8 x 0.8 cm.
