From the Publisher
While the specialised nature of some of the entries ensures that it will be the dictionary of choice for academics, university and higher level school students, and language professionals, there is much which any language learner will find accessible. The clear typography and uncluttered layout, for example, and the highlighted keyword features, provide the most user-friendly aid to translation possible. There is also help available for typical translation problems and detailed information about Italy and the Italian-speaking world in the form of extended cultural entries.
Complex entries and common lexical structures have been given in-depth treatment with special layouts, and pronunciation is clearly shown for both languages.
The Language In Use section shows hundreds of contemporary examples of how everyday Italian is used. It includes guidance on essay-writing and correspondence, and gives help in expressing yourself in a wide variety of situations, with categories such as "Likes, Dislikes and Preferences", "Comparisons" and "Obligation".
The combination of the Italian dictionary and the Language In Use supplement provides such a complete tool for language learning that satisfaction is guaranteed!

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
