Becoming You: A College Student’s Guide to Networking
Series II of the Becoming You College Series
College is more than books and grades, it’s about who you meet, how you connect, and the doors you open.
Becoming You: A College Student’s Guide to Networking is the second book in the Becoming You College Series, empowering students to build meaningful relationships that create real opportunities. Whether you’re shy or social, introverted or extroverted, this guide helps you master the art of connection with confidence and authenticity.
Through the story of Cydney, an ambitious student learning to expand her circle and seize new experiences on campus, you will see how intentional networking transforms both college and career paths. This book goes beyond elevator pitches and business cards. It helps you learn how to build trust, show up with presence, and position yourself for success in every room you enter.
In this book, you will learn

• Where to find mentors, allies, and advocates
• How to build a personal brand and reputation
• How to create lasting connections both online and in person
• How to turn conversations into opportunities
Whether you are attending your first student mixer, preparing for career fairs, or just trying to find your community, this guide will help you connect with purpose and grow with impact.
