Symonds D'Ewes's journals of his time at Cambridge. In exploring his own personal account and educational history this fascinating work offers an insight into St John's college during the latter half of James I's reign. In charting D'Ewes time at the university from his early education and entrance into Sr. John's College, this volume touches upon the condition of the college, the students and the significant events during his time at the University.
