Item description from seller

Collection of eleven original billheads printed in black ink on light beige paper. Each billhead also includes handwriting in black ink. Datelined June 20, July 3, 10, 19, 26, and 31, August 3 (two billheads), 15, and 30, and September 18, 1900 in Sacramento, California. All dates in 1900. Sizes range between 8 1/2" x 7" and 8 1/2" x 5 1/4" (most are latter size). Billheads are very clean and intact overall except for light age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, occasional rippling, occasional chipping at the edges, and a paper stub tipped in at right on back. Each billhead and the entire collection are Very Good. A collection of eleven original billheads from Capital Candy Company and H. Fisher & Company of Sacramento, California to Frank Kunsting of Franklin, California. The number of line items varies between each billhead. Among the items Kunsting purchased were "Tutti Frutti," "Flags," "Star Candles," "Sodas," "[Nic Nacs?]," "Green Drops," "Lemon Drops," "Rst. Peanuts," "[Bx Seu Seu?]," "Walnuts," "Choc. Creams," "H. H. Flat," and "Almonds." The printed header on each billhead reads, "Capital Candy Company. H. Fisher & Co.; Dealers in Fireworks; Dealers in Foreign and Domestic Nuts; Manufacturing Confectioners. 508-510 J Street. 307-309 Oak Ave. Agents for Portlandd Cracker Co." Capital Candy Company was a candy company based in Sacramento. At the time of these billheads, it is unclear if Capital Candy Co. had yet consolidated with H. Fisher & Company, whose name is printed at the top. Based on online documentation, Capital Candy Co. bought out H. Fisher & Co. in 1902. Capital Candy Co. was also known as Capital Candy & Cracker Company.
