It as still in use as of 1976.Peter Jones (1802-1856), an Ojibwe covert to Methodism, a native of Upper Canada (now Ontario). Jones was a bilingual preacher, translator, tribal chief and author whose efforts are credited with leading many Ojibways to Christ.
