- Music: Classical & Opera
This classical piano study collection is ideal for beginner to intermediate pianists seeking structured technical development through progressive repertoire. Perfect for students, teachers, and self learners, it supports daily piano practice and foundational skill building.
This volume brings together three complete Burgmuller study collections in one carefully edited piano book. It includes Twenty Five Easy and Progressive Studies Op.100 Books 1 and 2, Eighteen Characteristic Studies Op.109 Books 1 and 2, and Twelve Brilliant and Melodious Studies Op.105 Books 1 and 2. All studies are presented in standard notation and edited and fingered by Louis Oesterle for effective piano study.
These studies help build confidence and technique while improving rhythm, reading, articulation, and expressive control. The progressive structure encourages steady improvement and motivates consistent practice through musically engaging material rather than mechanical exercises. This collection is widely used as a music teacher resource and supports exam preparation, technical refinement, and long term piano development.
