First edition, fourth Impression. Octavo. 156pp. Lime green cloth stamped in gold on spine, and with gilt 'Hogarth Press' logo on front cover. A very good copy with light wear at the extremities in very good dust jacket, tanned, with moderate wear and slight loss at tips of spine. 1938 fourth impression, published three years after the first printing. Front free endpaper has seven contemporary ink signatures: Jean Waugh, Prudence Wilson, Priscilla Wilson, Bridget Bridwell(?), Lorna Tudsbery, Prixie(?) Veril, and Helen Hillardine(?). Therein is mystery.
