Paperback. The special skill with which Deepak Morris not only teaches, but lives the Dharma of Kama and Artha makes studying his little sayings and slogans (and especially his short stories) a joy: it is rapidly apparent to anyone who has read even a few of them that he is a master in the arts of both business and pleasure. But they speak to a greater spiritual lesson. His special wisdom transcends all culture and religion. He is a devoted Catholic, and has frequently been honored by the Catholic community. And other communities. But Loka Hatha Yoga is his publisher and we would remark that in 2016, Deepak Morris was honored by Loka Hatha Yoga for his Dharmic efforts. Not only in his teaching, but in the selfless service to his community which speaks to a genuine generosity of heart. The anonymous, selfless service which is so important to the perfection of Yoga and to Deepak Morris has revealed - beyond his ability to disguise - his true nature. His continued leadership in Loka Hatha Yoga, especially the Publications Division, has been invaluable. He has by remarkable strength of heart broken the distress arising from materialism and addiction - and has helped others similarly liberate themselves. He has bravely defended the civil and human rights of women, and those of religious minorities - and all those who face unfair disadvantage in opposition. His courage in the face of fear is inspirational, and has resulted in preventing distress. It is remarkable that he is almost entirely without fear. He has admirably and selflessly devoted himself to the care of his family, the worship of his God, the empowerment of children, and the support of his community. His nature is motivated toward friendship and harmony - and loyalty. The easy success he obtains demonstrates a profound perfection of skill. His love inspires true love in others. He has inspired joy in work and duty. His lessons on how to enjoy life have permitted greater awareness. He has excelled in the written and performance arts by understanding the arts through devotion to them. He is a modern Rishi of uncommon eloquence and urgent necessity. What more can be said to introduce Deepak Morris? If you have not yet read Deepak Morris, you soon shall: and will come to understand a little better the importance of enjoying your work, and doing it well; you will soon understand the importance of enjoying life - for mastering these is the foundation of mastering all Dharma.
