In this well-narrated mystery, we follow the likable and sharp-eyed Lauren Hendrick as she tells an adventurous tale of international travel, wealth and betrayal, culminating in premeditated murder. The reader is quickly transported between encounters with well-heeled couples in the South of France to an inopportune reunion set in the rustic luxury of the Rocky Mountains' most infamous hotel. An engaging story that moves quickly: you'll find yourself rooting for resolution until the very last page.
