The first post war edition. It retains the name of Wm. Lyall as Hon Editor as it is little more than a reprint of the 1937 edition, "members cruising observations being restricted by the deplorable summer of 1946". It has a "caution" page warning of large mooring buoys, hulks and other obstructions as well as foul bottoms remaining from the war.and refering to prohibited anchoring areas on charts. The book has some rubs, bumps and minor a minor split 1cm to top of spine. The is a previous owners name and address on the front paste down and some marks on front and rear endpapers (ink finger prints?).Internally tight and clean. It is generally in Good condition.
