Paperback. In the city of Elysia, reality begins to fracture when the moon silently appears to contain shifting mechanical seams, suggesting an impossible internal structure that behaves like a turning machine rather than a celestial body. Although all orbital and gravitational measurements remain normal, observational systems increasingly contradict one another, revealing that the moon is undergoing an internal "rotation" no model can explain. Days later, a second anomaly spreads through the city: human shadows begin to behave independently of their owners, drifting out of sync, altering direction, and eventually revealing a structured, non-random pattern of progression. As documentation increases, it becomes clear that these shadow deviations are not errors but part of a coordinated system that appears to be "counting" through discrete steps toward an unknown endpoint. Different observers across disciplines independently discover that both the lunar phenomena and the shadow behavior share the same underlying periodic structure, suggesting they are components of a larger hidden mechanism. Over time, the evidence converges into a disturbing conclusion: reality itself is being organized like interlocking gears, with the moon as a central turning engine and shadows as distributed indicators of a vast, unfolding mechanical process whose purpose remains unknown but is clearly still in motion.
