The Clinical Competency Validation Program (CCVP) for Infusion Therapy, 5th edition (2022) is the ideal tool for clinicians seeking to validate their infusion skills in both acute and alternative care settings. It was developed to achieve consistency in technical skill development, to validate competencies for catheter insertion and removal, and to standardize care and maintenance protocols for selected vascular and nonvascular devices and infusion-related practices. Delivered in a spiral-bound format, each competency can be photocopied to validate the skills of one clinician or an entire department.
