Prof. Dr. Walter Leal holds Chairs of Climate Change Management at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and Environment and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). He directs the Research and Transfer Centre "Sustainable Development and Climate Change Management". His main research interests are in the fields of climate change and sustainable development. Prof. Leal is Contributor to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as Review Editor (AR5) and Lead Author and Contributing Author (AR6). He is Founder and Chairman of the International Climate Change Research and Information Programme (ICCIRP), created in 2008.
Dr. Marina Kovaleva received her Ph.D. from the University of Bonn (Germany). Her main research interests are in the fields of climate change adaptation and mitigation and gender. Currently, she is working at the Research and Transfer Centre "Sustainable Development and Climate Change Management".
Prof. Maria Alzira Pimenta Dinis is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Fernando Pessoa, Porto, Portugal. She is graduated in metallurgical engineering (1992) and master science in materials engineering (1995) at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. She holds Ph.D. in earth sciences (2010) and made habilitation in ecology and environmental health (2023) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Fernando Pessoa, Portugal. Prof Dinis is Co-Coordinator of the Earth Sciences doctoral program and Researcher at Fernando Pessoa Research, Innovation and Development Institute (FP-I3ID) and Centro de Ciências do Mar e do Ambiente/Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE), University of Coimbra, in environment-related topics.
Dr. Johannes M. Lütz is Professor of Sustainability and Religion (full) at Alphacrucis University College, Brisbane (Australia), specialising in research that examines ecological concerns from spiritual perspectives. He is Director of Research Development and Chair of Research Ethics. Johannes is an interdisciplinary social scientist and has lived and worked across countries and continents. He conducts humanitarian research at the science-faith, interfaith, and science-policy interface and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals. Johannes has affiliations with the University of New South Wales in Sydney, where he is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Social Sciences, and with the University of the Sunshine Coast, where he is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Law and Society.
Prof. Fatima Alves, Ph.D. in sociology, is Associate Professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Management at Universidade Aberta (the Portuguese open university) and Researcher at the Centre for Functional Ecology, Science for People & the Planet (CFE), University of Coimbra, where she coordinates the Research Group Societies and Environmental Sustainability. She teaches curricular units of the Scientific Area of Sociology and Social Sciences, mainly linked to the areas and themes of the research she develops. She has coordinated for several years the degree in social sciences, the master in intercultural relations, and the Ph.D. in intercultural relations.
Prof. Gustavo J. Nagy has a multidisciplinary background in earth and environmental sciences focused on interdisciplinary climate studies: oceanography, coastal sedimentary processes, estuarine biogeochemistry, remote sensing, climate impact, adaptation, and vulnerability. He is Associate Professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of the Republic (UdelaR), Montevideo, Uruguay. Prof. Nagy has 30+ years of experience in interdisciplinary climate and environmental studies. His research is mainly focused on climate adaptation in multiple sectors, systems, and regions, particularly coastal areas, health and wellbeing, and planetary health, cities and settlements, focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Latin America, Africa, Bangladesh, the Pacific Small Islands Developing Countries, as well as Europe.
Prof. Sidat Yaffa is Professor of agronomy, Dean of the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at the University of The Gambia, and Director of the UTG/WASCAL Doctoral Research Program on Climate Change and Education. He has extensive expertise in agronomy and climate change research and practice. Prof. Yaffa is also Director of the REPGam Project at UTG. The REPGam Project is dedicated to enhancing research, education, and policy-making in The Gambia, with a particular emphasis on sustainable agriculture and environmental management.
Dr. Desalegn, an Associate Professor at the Center for Food Security Studies, Addis Ababa University, specializes in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development. Holding a Ph.D. in Geography, he serves as Deputy Editor for the International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management, Associate Editor for Climatic Change, and Guest Editor for collections such as Food Security in Conflict and Disaster Zones at BMC Nutrition and Climate-Smart Food Systems in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems. He has over 100 publications. He is also East Africa Vice President for the "Making Africa Great, Empowered, and Sustainable Initiative." His research focuses on climate change, adaptation, Indigenous weather forecasting, and resource management.
Dr. Jokastah Kalungu is Experienced Irrigation and Water Resource Engineer with M.Sc. in irrigation and drainage engineering (USP, Brazil) and a B.Sc. in agricultural engineering (JKUAT, Kenya). She has over 10 years of experience in the field of agriculture and water-related projects. She has worked in Kenya, Malawi, and Mauritius. Before joining the South Eastern University College as Lecturer, she had worked with the Ministry of Irrigation and Food Security in Malawi, ICRAF, under a RELMA project, Kenya Rainwater Association, GIBB Africa Ltd., among others. Due to her interests in climate change and food security issues, she secured a Ph.D. scholarship under CALESA (Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change) project.

Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
