Chao-Hsiu Chen was born in Taiwan and later studied music in Vienna and Salzburg. She is also a gifted artist, and has illustrated a number of titles on Chinese and Japanese wisdom. She is a fine linguist, speaking five lanugages. She lives in Rome and Munich and is currently composing theme music for German TV programmes.
