Although an integral part of the series, each exercise workbook is designed to stand alone, providing detailed information along with a lively variety of activities. It also features creative coloring tasks that inspire imagination and curiosity, making it a great companion for primary school students eager to start their musical journey. This volume carefully develops a strong musical foundation by emphasizing basic elements such as sound, notes, the treble clef, the musical staff, rests, measures, and time signatures.

As self-sufficient and adaptable resources, all three workbooks can be used without the main books from the New Music Education School series, while adding a valuable element to the core study materials. The supplemental exercise workbooks to Clefi's Little Notebook and Clefi’s Musical Instruments offer rich insights into key musical topics, plenty of valuable and enjoyable exercises, and creative coloring activities, making them an inspiring and essential resource for young musical explorers delving into the enchanting world of music notation and theory.
