- Book 3 of 28: AI for Everyone
Claude is the AI that listens. This book shows you what it can really do.
People who try Claude for the first time tend to say the same thing: "Wait — this one actually listens." It writes with a voice. It reasons through long documents without losing the thread. It pushes back when something is off, and it hands you working software inside a window called Artifacts.
But most users are still treating it like a fancier search box.
Claude: The Definitive Guide is the comprehensive, up-to-date guide to everything Claude can do in 2026 — written for real people, not developers, not AI researchers. Every feature, every plan, every practical use case, in plain English.
What's inside:
-
Get started right. Pick the right plan (Free, Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise), set up your account across web/iOS/Android/desktop, understand the Claude 4.6 model family (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku), and have your first real conversations.
-
Master the core skills. Writing, research and learning, everyday productivity, and professional work — with concrete walkthroughs from professional bios to two-week trip plans to job-interview prep.
-
Unlock every feature. Vision (photos, PDFs, screenshots, handwriting). File uploads and analysis. Artifacts (interactive HTML, React components, SVG, Mermaid diagrams). Projects with custom instructions and knowledge files. Extended thinking. The full Claude personality and behavior model.
-
Get better results. Prompting fundamentals, long and complex tasks, output formatting and control with XML tags — strategies tuned to the way Claude actually thinks.
-
Use it for your world. Targeted chapters for students and educators, business teams, developers, and creators and freelancers — including when to use Claude vs. ChatGPT vs. Gemini.
-
Stay safe and informed. Honest coverage of hallucinations, knowledge cutoffs, privacy and data use, academic integrity, and the ethics of AI assistance.
-
75+ ready-to-use prompt templates organized by category — writing, research, business, creative, education, productivity, and technical.
Whether you're opening Claude for the first time or you've been using it daily and want to finally understand the full toolkit, this is the only book you need.
Includes coverage of Claude Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5, Artifacts, Projects, extended thinking, Claude Code, the mobile and desktop apps, and every 2026 feature.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
