- Book 1 of 6: Claude Code Mastery for Beginners and Developers
What if coding didn’t have to feel slow, repetitive, or mentally exhausting anymore? What if you could describe what you want in clear language and get structured, usable results without constant trial and error? And more importantly, what if you’re already using AI—but not getting anywhere near its full potential?
Claude Engineering Essentials: Prompt Design, Workflow Automation, and Intelligent Coding Strategies by Derrick M. Newman invites you into a different way of thinking about development—one where AI becomes a reliable engineering partner instead of an unpredictable tool.
Have you ever wondered why some developers get clean, precise outputs from AI while others keep struggling with vague or broken results? It’s not luck, and it’s not magic. The real difference lies in how you communicate with the system. This book shows you how to move from random prompting to structured, intentional design.
You’ll start to question your current approach. Are you treating AI like a simple chatbot, or are you using it as a system you can guide, refine, and scale? Because once you understand how to design prompts with clarity and purpose, everything changes. Tasks that used to take hours begin to shrink. Frustrating iterations become controlled processes. Guesswork fades, and consistency takes its place.
Think about how often you rewrite similar code, debug predictable issues, or repeat workflows that could easily be automated. What if those tasks didn’t need your constant attention? What if you could design workflows that handle them for you while you focus on higher-level thinking? This book walks you through practical ways to build those systems—step by step, without unnecessary complexity.
Instead of giving you scattered tips, it helps you develop a mindset. You’ll learn how to break problems into smaller, solvable parts, how to guide AI toward accurate outputs, and how to refine results until they meet real-world standards. This is where coding evolves into something more—an interaction between your intent and intelligent systems.
Have you ever felt that AI outputs are “almost right” but never quite usable? That gap can be frustrating. But what if you could close it consistently? By applying structured prompt techniques and intelligent workflows, you’ll learn how to turn partial results into polished solutions. The goal isn’t just speed—it’s reliability.
As you move through this book, you’ll begin to see a shift. You’re no longer just writing code line by line. You’re designing processes, building systems, and orchestrating outcomes. You move from reacting to problems to engineering solutions ahead of time. That shift is what separates casual users from true practitioners.
So the real question is this: are you ready to stop experimenting and start building with intention? Are you ready to transform AI from a helpful assistant into a powerful extension of your thinking? Because once you do, your entire workflow changes.
This isn’t about replacing your skills—it’s about amplifying them. It’s about working smarter, producing better results, and gaining control over how you build.
If you’re ready to move beyond inconsistent outputs and start creating with clarity, confidence, and efficiency, then this is your next step. Get your copy of Claude Engineering Essentials today and start turning intelligent coding into your everyday advantage.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
