Each chapter begins with clear statements of definitions, principles and theorems. To illustrate and amplify the theories and principles, there are graded sets of solved examples and supplementary problems in each chapter. The book highlights vector treatment, but the scalar treatment is not disregarded. Theorems and principles are solved by vector method whereas in case of solved problems, both vector and scalar treatments are utilized. It is assumed that the students have a fair working knowledge of differential and integral calculus, differential equations, vector algebra and vector calculus.
