Item description from seller

Fine, clean, unread copy. In very good dust jacket, with some edgewear. Book club edition. Hardcover. 185 pp. Based on the 1981 epic fantasy movie of the same name. Perseus, son of Zeus, is blessed with divine gifts and exposed to all the dangers that mortal enemies, jealous goddesses, and fire-breathing monsters can invent. He is set afloat at birth in a chest, but rescued by fisherfolk and lives under their refuged. A woman places a curse of love on his head, one which cannot be broken unless he answers a riddle, and with the help of the gods he answers the riddle and must choose whether to continue to love the woman or cause her demise.
