Chapter One
A day in the life ...
Bouncing out of bed, not having to set the physical alarm clock because the internal rhythmic clock, which has been awaking me every day for the past many years, has nudged me awake at the predetermined time my mental awareness has established. Eager to experience the many wonders of the day, seeing the shadow of my father who is on the other side out the corner of my eye, as I sense his greeting and acknowledge it with a warm smile, I continue with my morning routine.
Knowing the temperatures in Alaska, I am grateful I had set the auto start button in my vehicle so I would not have to go outside and start the vehicle as the temperatures had dropped 20 degrees over night. Bundling up and heading out the door I began my journey to the office. On the trek down the road there is that small sensation that says it would be better to go into work on Hwy 1, the longer route, rather than the usual shorter route. The deviation and change of scenery are enjoyable. Catching a glimpse of a mother moose with her yearling as they munch on the vegetation, seeing a fox as it skitters past the roadway, observing raven as she flies low almost parallel with my vehicle. Enjoying all of nature's friends and beauty; I realized driving the other route, they would have been missed. Grateful for the change of scenery, the beautiful animals, and the amazing patterns in the clouds all heralded a glorious morning.
Arriving at the office the receptionist looks surprised, "We didn't expect you for awhile." Questioning the comment she replied, "Because the route you usually come in on has been closed because of an accident." Shrugging my shoulders I smile and tell her I just knew to come to work on the Highway that my higher connections had made certain that I would arrive on time safe and sound, with the added blessing of having experienced the morning beauty.
Preparing for clients and going over the calendar for the days appointments the phone rings and I answer it without thinking, "Hello Mary Ann". She laughs and says, "how come you always know when I am calling, do you have caller ID?" I reply, "Yes, we do have caller ID but I am so wrapped up in preparing for the day I just knew it was you without looking at the ID".
A young woman comes into the clinic she is carrying a heavy emotional burden and I can feel it before the receptionist comes back to my office to see if I can meet with her. Looking at the schedule we make her visit happen. As she comes back to my desk I just know she has recently lost a child. I know that the child is fine and has returned home to heaven or the source of our reality. Once she enters my office she relays her story of how she had been walking on the ice and had slipped. When she slipped the injury she suffered had caused her to miscarry. She was so angry with herself and the situation we felt the need to begin grief therapy sessions and healing sessions to help her release these thoughts and feelings. As we visited her child shares a message with her bringing her much peace and comfort.
The day's experiences continued to be so blessed and I experience the wealth of abundance that no money could ever purchase as I see clients. From correcting energy flows, through energetic healing, to hypnosis reprogramming and past life regressions, to working with essential oils and creams, a day like this brings warmth and love to the soul.
Before heading home my son and I did some grocery shopping and I began to tell him how it had been a while since we've seen Tom at the office for a session. He agrees, and we head home. Remotely checking the office messages there is a message on the phone, "Hi this is Tom, was wondering if I could get in for an appointment this coming Friday ..." We return his call and set his appointment.
After dinner settling down to watch a movie on television, I began to smell roses and I tell my grandmother hi. It has been a few years since her passing but about the same time every evening I smell the roses she used to so tenderly care for when she was alive. In my mind's eye I can see her water, prune, and fertilize them, she took such pride in them, and the other flowers she grew. Enjoying this memory that has resurfaced the television never is even turned on.
Later that evening, getting the taste of carbon monoxide in my mouth, I check the house for any leaks or problems. After finding no leaks on the physical realm it is time to go into meditation and check on the ethereal realm. Calming and centering myself entering into quiet contemplative meditation seeking the reason for this taste of carbon monoxide; I see a young man sitting in his truck crying, the air is clouded with the exhaust he had brought in from a tube connected to the exhaust pipe of his truck to the partially closed front driver's side window. I can feel his grief, his sorrow, and his worthlessness. While in meditation I send him prayers of healing, love and light. During this meditation as his energy had been sent across my path I know he can hear and feel the love of the divine creator as we send this love and boost of life to him. Gently drifting off to sleep I can still feel his hand resting in mine as I know we will continue to work and attempt to reactivate his self worth and help him to find self love from deep within himself. Two days later in the local paper there is an article of an emergency call to a residence where a young man had attempted to commit suicide by affixation. He had been found by a neighbor and was rushed to the hospital. In the article the neighbor revealed that he heard the young man coughing, when he arrived at the truck he quickly opened the door, the truck engine had been turned off and the keys were out of the ignition. The young man told the neighbor he felt the love of others and had turned the truck off before it was too late. Adding this article and information to my memory I know this young man's angels, or guides, had come and asked for my assistance that this young man's life be spared. It warmed my heart to have had the privilege to be a vessel unknown to this man, able to add a drop of love into his life.
After a day of work settling in for a good night's sleep came quickly. During this sleep time and night dreaming adventures began as the work of the day continued into the work of the subconscious. One dream in particular stood out as it foretold of a new adventure a new avenue that would soon open up. In the dream it brought excitement to me as my dream showed I was being asked to come and teach a class and doing healing work in Texas. I woke excited at the prospect of such an event. As I prepared for another day following the leading and guidance of my spirit guide and the masters, offering what I could to others for their highest good, the memory of this dream remained fresh in my mind. I could repeat the dream verbatim if anyone were to ask. It was as if I were truly there and the offer was actually being made and the details were being arranged. On the drive to the office an eagle swooped down and flew in front of me, I could feel the power of its wings as it cut through the air. After about two miles the eagle rose and disappeared. Arriving at the office, I visited with the office gal and shared my dream with her. She pointed to a note on my desk and said I think you have better read this but you might want to sit down first. There on my desk was a message to call one of my Texas suppliers. They would like for me to come and teach a class on the use of essential oils as a healing modality.
So is the average day in the average life as it happens. The view and understanding of these types of events and occurrences can be better understood when we spend time learning, and studying the clair's: clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, clairessence, clairgustance, and claircognizance. Each and every thing that happens in everyday of our lives has a deeper meaning than many of us are even aware. Catching the fragrance of a flower when no flowers are around, seeing movement from the corners of our eyes, hearing a song or a message in the stillness of the night or day, these are all examples of how the clair's work. They happen to everyone at some point in their lives. An event may be ignored, discredited, fearful or may be welcomed, received and experienced. Having an understanding of what these things are removes the fears and wonderment of the unknown; opening the doors to greater understanding and enlightenment.
Ce was raised in a very traditional home with fundamental beliefs and when her father passed a few days after his funeral he came to tell her good bye. Unfortunately, Ce missed the opportunity to have had that experience. She feared the unknown and believed it to be a demon impersonating her father, or worse yet, the devil messing with her mind. She told him to leave, which he did. Later in life she has shared with me how she wished she would have known it was not that he was trying to come back across the veil but that he was sending a message of love to her, coming to say good bye. Lessons learned and wisdom of the ages, she says, were a hard way to learn and to understand. Not having the knowledge, the understanding or the words to explain things has left her abandoned and fearful of experiences that are unexplainable. Now having spent time learning, even in her 80's, she can rejoice for she has now gained a greater awareness of such things.
Ce shared a story with me in her later years of driving down the highway while on vacation. Visiting with her daughter and grandson, the sky was amazing and the clouds were beautiful. It was then that she thought of her departed husband and wished she could have shared this amazing vacation with him. It was shortly after this thought when she looked in the cloud and a huge heart opened up in one of the clouds. She began to weep to herself as she knew he was with her on this trip even though he was "across the veil". He was able to draw and send her love through the clouds, no evil, no fear, simply a representation of his continual love.
The perception of the day, the perception of the activity, brings the awareness of what is actually a day in the life.
Chapter Two
What is metaphysics?
Metaphysics is that which is unexplainable by the sciences. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica: Metaphysics is a "philosophical study whose object is to determine the real nature of things- to determine the meaning, structure and principles of whatever is insofar as it is," (Britannica, 2008). Metaphysics is a form of Philosophy which seeks to find and understand the ultimate reality of life. Explaining the unexplainable!
In early times metaphysics was considered the natural philosophy. Aristotle, in his treaties, developed Metaphysics as the science of understanding that "to be" is the essence of being. Seeking those inner mysteries of reality. An inner mystery which cannot be shaped into reality is the basic premise of metaphysics.
Physics is the study of how matter interacts with other matter. Quantum physics is the study of the behavior of smaller particles, such as electrons, protons and neutrons. With the use of quantum physics we search even deeper into finding the meaning of the essence of what life is. Life, as it is, is broken down into smaller bits of itself to see what reality really is. It is with this understanding that life and all that is associated with life is metaphysic ~ quantum physics. Through the study of metaphysics we can understand that the ability to understand these mysteries is possible. The question of what is life can be understood and an answer may be obtained.
There are no freak, strange or weird occurrences, when we are able to understand the smallest parts of the universal laws and rules. Gaining insight into the order of how things happen and why they happen can be explained and understood through the greater acceptance of this truth. It is through this universal window we are able to see the reality of what reality really is.
This explains why some can actualize the vibrational pulse of a friend, and in this vibration they can know there will soon be that chance meeting, which shortly thereafter occurs. The vibration, or energy compounds, broken down leave a signature within the universal vibrational fields. Scientifically, the reality of the probability of this happening are about a million to one. Quantum physics sees this as the smallest forms of matter inter-connecting and colliding. Once sensitivity to the vibrational pulses has been accessed, the understanding of why some are sensitive to this vibrational alteration is understood. Thus exposing why some people are then able to see, feel, understand, and are able to experience the mystical mysteries of life. Some terms related to this in the metaphysical world are: abilities, gifts, intuition, skills or talents, making it possible to connect with those tiniest forms of matter without limitations. The awakening of this sensitivity then shows how a recognized signature pattern can and will affect such a person.
Every person has this sensitivity within themselves. For whatever reasons many have chosen to ignore or turn the sensitivity off. For some being unable to explain the unexplainable makes it easier to simply say it does not exist. This or that is just a coincidence, or an over active imagination. When in reality these sensitivities are very real and very much a part of our everyday life.
Within these gifts or talents are such terms as mediumship, and shamanism. Broken down even into a finer awareness these terms can share some awakening in building an awareness which can then be observed and understood in terms of what is: channeling, trance, meditation, being empathetic, intuitive, or the collective unconscious connecting with the conscious through dreams. Whatever labels you feel comfortable calling it, call it and recognize it, as the reality of time and space through vibrational pulses is exposed and explored.
Once this has been understood it then paves way for the greater awakening into understanding the clair's. Each simple term is then given a broader perspective and greater credence as it then can be recognized and experienced through everyday life in normal natural activities, behaviors, reactions and situations.
Chapter Three
Mediumship
Exploration of mediumship requires the researcher to look at the mysterious human facilitations of the nervous system. It is through the central nervous system that we allow the mind vibration to register at a higher vibration. Connecting with that vibration with a clarity and understanding opens the universal understanding of, and to, that which cannot be explained. To operate as a medium the person is facilitating this higher vibration, opening a form of communicative channeling as the medium is allowing the process to happen, they have shifted their awareness.
One of the ways to understand mediumship or what a medium is is to understand what a medium is not. This may seem to be a contradictory message but the message in this is many have claimed a medium is this or that when in reality they truly are not. A medium is not someone who has evolved to an elite spiritual status, and they are not unnatural, freakish individuals. Mediumship is not a magic side show, and is not something that can be just turned off and on for entertainment purposes. A medium will not use their gifts or abilities to read other people's minds, as a means to control another person. A true medium will follow universal and spiritual laws.
As I explored the many avenues of mediumship, I was exposed to a few who we will call uneducated and who had been working out of pride. Such a case happened when I went to see a woman who claimed to be an internationally recognized and certified medium. As I sat in front of her and she began our session I could tell simply from the vibration that was coming from her that she was not operating from a higher frequency. She was actually working from ego and pride. I did not hold space with her for very long and I was aware of her calling being very real but she had, for lack of better awareness, allowed herself to become a mystical actress. Then I have sat with others who from the moment of greeting, you could tell that they operated with integrity and in connection with the divine creator. They had learned to hone their skills as an enlightened gift.
