Claimed by the Inspector (Paperback)

In the shadows of London, one woman built a network to save the forgotten. One man gave up everything to stand beside her. Together, they'll burn the system to the ground.

London, 1820s.

Inspector Elias Vale has spent twelve years at Bow Street, chasing criminals and believing in justice. He's good at his job. Honest. Stubborn. The kind of man who follows the evidence wherever it leads.

When a magistrate named Silas Hume is found murdered, Elias is assigned the case. The evidence points to the Duchess of Ashcombe, a woman known throughout London as the Duchess of Debts. A woman who extorts lords. Who ruins magistrates. Who operates a shadow network that defies every law Elias has sworn to uphold.

But when Elias tracks her down, he finds something he didn't expect. The duchess isn't a criminal. She's a protector. The women she's accused of extorting are the men who sold their wives' names. Who committed their nieces to asylums. Who used the courts as a weapon against the people who couldn't fight back.

Beatrice built the Night Exchange to save them. To give them new names, new lives, and new chances. And now the men she's been fighting have decided to destroy her.

The Committee of Improvement. A secret society of magistrates, bankers, and government officials who have been selling women's names and profiting from their ruin for years. They killed Hume because he tried to expose them. They're framing Beatrice because she's the only one who can stop them.

Elias should arrest her. The evidence is there. The warrant is signed. The orders are clear.

Instead, he helps her run.

Together, they plunge into the hidden world of the Night Exchange. Safe houses and secret routes. Women in hiding and men in pursuit. A ledger that contains the names of every member of the Committee and every crime they've committed.

As they race to expose the conspiracy before the Committee silences them, Elias and Beatrice discover something neither expected. A connection that goes beyond the case. A passion that defies the world they live in. A love that could save them both or destroy everything they've built.

To stop the Committee, they'll have to find the Patron, the man behind the conspiracy. A man hidden inside the government. A man who controls the courts and the police and the military. A man who has been operating for decades and has never been seen.

To find him, they'll risk everything. Their lives. Their freedom. Their hearts.

And when the truth is finally exposed, Elias will face the hardest choice of his life. The badge or the woman. The system or the truth. The world he's always known or the future he never imagined.

The claimed by the Inspector is a historical romantic thriller about power and corruption, courage and sacrifice, and the fierce, defiant love that grows in the darkest places.

Being very broad minded, and extremely adventurous, there is no subject left unturned when it comes to my fantasies.

Some of the stories come from y own experience, or from experiences I have heard of, or they are pure fantasy, and come from deep in my mind.

No matter where they come from, I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy writing them, and getting turned on by them. Just break out the tissues or the toys and enjoy them to the fullest.

Thanks!
