Collection of writings by a British historian, including his "The Campaign of Fredericksburg" (1886), essays from "The Science of War" (1905), & an essay from "Memoirs of Stonewal Jackson" (1895). Fold-out map included. Index, maps. Gray boards. Bright red dust jacket with illustration on bottom half front and spine. Jacket has small rubs & wear at top edges and is very slightly faded at spine. No statement of edition, just 1958 date on copyright page and price $6.00 on jacket flap.
