It contains stories by Robert Abernathy (Single Combat), Walter M Miller, Jr (Dumb Waiter), Henry Kuttner (Jesting Pilot), Robert A Heinlein ("It's Great to be Back!"), J G Ballard (Billenium), James Blish (Okie), C M Kornbluth (The Luckiest Man in Denv), E M Forster (The Machine Stops), Brian Aldiss (The Under-Privileged), Stephen Vincent Benet (By the Waters of Babylon), and Don A Stuart (Forgetfulness).
