"Greg Van Dussen continues to introduce us to the early leaders of the Wesleyan Movement in North America. Through their own words, his historical and pastoral commentary, along with a daily prayer focus, we find a rich and unique resource for the study of the Wesleyan movement of yesterday. More importantly, we are given inspiration for being leaders in the next chapter of the Wesleyan movement that God will use to offer the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our world! Those committed to living and leading the Wesleyan Way in the 21st century will find this resource a rich addition to their library and devotional life." Bishop Mark J. Webb Upper New York Conference, The United Methodist Church
"I have cried, I have laughed, I have been challenged intellectually, theologically and historically. At the same time my heart has been warmed with a greater desire to live a Holy Life. Greg's writing is so compelling it is impossible to stop reading with one account. This book speaks to contemporary issues and renews a Pan-Wesleyan identity. A must for the new year!!" Jo Anne Lyon General Superintendent Emerita, The Wesleyan Church
