Chafing under the lack of freedom while accepting diplomatic duties since the death of her mother, she is drawn towards Rattan. He never finds the right moment to tell her of his dead first wife, and when she finds out, she resolves to discover the truth about Tanvi's death.

About the Author:

Preeti Singh currently lives in Kuwait with her diplomat husband, having spent several years posted in the United States and Egypt. She studied English Literature in both India and Washington, and has worked as a university Lecturer/Reader. Preeti has contributed articles, reviews and short stories to literary magazines before writing her first full-length novel. She worked as Editor at the Oxford University Press, New Delhi, until she moved to Kuwait.
