Print on Demand. This book explores the complexities of the outbreak of World War I through the lens of the Bishop of Lincoln's sermon. The sermon examines the moral and religious challenges posed by the war, delving into the ideals of international brotherhood and peace that had been shattered by the conflict. The author reflects on the role of Christianity in the face of such devastation and the need to uphold human values even in the darkest of times. The book offers a unique perspective on the war, inviting readers to confront the moral dilemmas it raised and to consider the enduring importance of peace and understanding. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
