A history of the city of Bristol, with details from aboriginal Britons to the eighteenth century. With a guide to the streets and neighborhoods, including walks and rides around the area. Written by John Evans, an English writer and historian. Missing fold-out map of Bristol. Bound in quarter crushed morocco with cloth boards. Externally, sound with rubbing to the extremities and minor bumping. Light fraying to the edges of the boards. Residual library marks to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot and pencil annotation. Some tears to pages from the title page to X. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Good.
