Fine. 1980-1981 (Showa 55 & 56), 3 volumes, 1711 plus 462 numbered pages, numerous illustrations (some in color), plates and tables, 8vo (6 x 8 1/2 in) blue cloth, each volume with a slipcase. Text in Japanese but numerous books and publications in Western language printed by the company are presented with the author and title in English. . A comprehensive history of the famous Japanese publishing and stationery company from its earliest days to the present time. Includes foreign imports and foreign language publications. Volumes 1 & 2 (1980) have continuous pagenation with pages running from 1 and ending at 1711. The 3rd volume (1981) has 462 numbered pages. A total of 2173 numbered pages.
