Frontispieces by Chris Van Allsburg, and in-text illustrations by Pauline Baynes, J.R.R. Tolkien's favorite illustrator. There are a couple near-imperceptible printing defects in the gilt for The Last Battle, likely due to one page being slightly larger than the rest. The shrink wrap was temporarily removed from this volume to confirm publication information. C.S. Lewis' enduringly popular parable of the Christian story for children, still beloved to this day.
