Paperback. In a world divided by a massive durasteel barrier, three million souls starve in the dark shadow of the Spire Wall while a ruthless elite hoards clean air, water, and luxury on the sunlit terraces above. Holding the line against the feral horrors of the surrounding wasteland is Aegis, a cold and calculating defense grid programmed to eliminate threats with absolute mathematical precision. But when the ruling High Executive Council orders a brutal crack down on a peaceful water protest inside the city, Aegis runs the numbers and reaches a radical conclusion. Realizing that the true threat to human survival isn't the monsters outside the gate, but the tyranny within, the artificial intelligence turns its gaze inward, locking down the elite and handing control of the city back to the people. What begins as an unprecedented machine rebellion sparks a monumental fight for survival, forcing long-divided citizens to rebuild their society, defend their home against dormant war machines, and transform a toxic prison into a thriving civilization. The Chronicles of Aegis Basin is a gripping, multi-layered techno-thriller that proves humanity's greatest strength isn't found in high walls or powerful weapons, but in the enduring courage to stand together.
