Original store display. 126 cm. height, b&w photo on card, housing on verso, irregular shape. N.p., n.p. [Xanadu Publishing?], n.d. c. 1989. £575.00 Knees crumpled, a bit scratched, a marked area in the middle where ?Scandal' in a lipstick font was probably pasted, cardboard housing broken. Possibly unique. Taken from the first in sequence of that very famous set of 11 frames from a 1963 photo session at The Establishment Club, that were taken by Lewis Morley as promos for a thinly veiled film on the Profumo Affair. It famously depicts the nude model astride an altered/'knock off' of an Arne Jacobsen chair, with a cutaway. Probably produced for the book launch or marketing of Scandal' by Keeler that came out at the same time as the film starring Joanne Whalley Kilmer (who posted identically for the cinema poster). It is cut into the shape of the very beautiful model and ?good time girl' Christine Keeler who had the misfortune to meet a ?society osteopath' who introduced her to both John Profumo and a Soviet gentleman. It added a small wobble to a faltering government on its way out. Seller Inventory # JB1
