Dr. R. Jayakumar - Professor at Amrita School of Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine (ASNSMM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Kochi-682041, India-specializing in Polymeric Biomaterials. Dr. R. Jayakumar joined ASNSMM in November-2007. He received his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Anna University, Chennai, India (2002). He has over 300 Journal publications, 30 book chapters and 10 patents. His publications have been cited more than 30000 times with h-index-90. In addition, he has also edited and published 10 books.
Dr. Jayakumar's research laboratory at ACNSMM is mainly interested in developing polymeric nanofibers, nanogels, nanoparticles, nanocomposite scaffolds, and injectable hydrogels for tissue engineering, drug delivery, and wound healing applications. He was awarded the University Postdoctoral Fellowship from Chonbuk National University (2002-2003), South Korea, and the FCT Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Government of Portugal (2003-2005). In addition, he was also awarded the prestigious JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship (2005-2007) from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Japan. He has received the “Best Paper Award” from the Journal of Materials Science Materials in Medicine (Springer) and IET Nanobiotechnology Journal. He received the “Faculty Researcher Award-2016” from Indian Chitin and Chitosan Society and “MRSI Medal-2017” from the Materials Research Society of India. He also received the “India Research Excellence-Citation Awards 2017 (Health & Medical Science area)” from Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science. Recently, he was selected as a “World top 2% scientists from India” in “Polymers” field by Stanford University, USA in the year of 2021, 2022 & 2023. He also be listed in the “Top 10 Material Science Researchers from India” by “Research.com”. He received “Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award (AIRA)-2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023” from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University), India. He is also a reviewer and editorial board member of many international journals. He also completed more than 20 funded projects, and 4 are ongoing.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
