Clean, tight, unmarked; name written inside front cover and on inside edge; otherwise very minimal wear; "In the last century, the I Ching has been studied seriously in the West, both as an introduction to the Oriental mind, and as a time-tested entry point into the human perception of change, especially change in the unconscious.Author Richard Grant is a long-time user of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and its 16 psychological types. To incorporate also the major archetypes, he was searching for a system of sixty-four that included the characteristics of polarity and archetypal wholeness, as representative of all the possibilities of human development. He found the I Ching." - from the cover.
