A rare original full-colour Chinese Propaganda Poster from the Cultural Revolution era. First printing September 1970. Designed by the Revolution Committee of the Shanghai no. 3 Printing and Dyeing Factory. Landscape format 77cm x 53cm. No. 3-158 - (2) 11. Depicts Chinese rice workers. Text: "Swear to raise the quantities of rice production.despise colonialism and capitalism" Billboard text: "Revolution.Criticize.Fight for the People". Quite brittle paper. Condition: very good with fold marks, some small areas of light damage and small loss at the bottom left corner. Would benefit from being archivally backed and framed.Provenance: acquired from a collector in Nanjing. Seller Inventory # 004142
