About the Author

The Author: Peiling Xing earned her B.A. in English Language and Literature and PGCE in Mainland China. In 2002, she was awarded a Ph.D. scholarship by the University of Dundee and started her Ph.D. research in Applied Linguistics at the School of Humanities, University of Dundee, UK. She is now a course tutor in EAP at the English Language Centre of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China.
