Chiara X, an action-packed, good-versus-evil fantasy novel--the first of three installments--lays the foundation for the book series as it follows a group of heroes known as the Protectors in their mission to defend the innocent against the forces of evil. Readers are introduced to an alternate version of our world, in which place and character names are similar but not identical to those in our real existence, providing a setting simultaneously familiar and unfamiliar. If you are a fan of paranormal occurrences, alien appearances, animal-human hybrid creatures, telepathy, drones, biomechanical constructs, super-powered criminals, time-traveling eternals, power-mad monarchs, and passionate lovers of all types, then this book is for you.
