Career of Edward Lasker with anecdotes and impressions of the many great players he knew and played against, amongst them Pillsbury, Nimzowitsch, Emanuel Lasker, Capablanca, Reshevsky and Alekhine. Plus 77 annotated games including those played between Marshall and the author in the 1923 U.S. Championship. Descriptive notation.
