About the Author
Vineet Kumar has been serving as Associate Professor (Veterinary Surgery and Radiology) at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bihar Animal Sciences University, Kishanganj, Bihar, since April 18, 2023. Previously, he served as Assistant Professor (Veterinary Surgery and Radiology) at Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Gujarat, from September 10, 2012 to June 12, 2018, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, from June 13, 2018 to April 17, 2023. He completed his BVSc&AH from Bangalore Veterinary College, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University in 2008, and his MVSc and PhD (Veterinary Surgery and Radiology) from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Uttar Pradesh, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. His area of interest is tissue engineering and reconstructive surgery. He has contributed to the development of several decellularization techniques for animal tissues for soft tissue repair. In his service period of over 11 years, he has guided 9 MVSc students, authored 5 books and 34 book chapters, published over 75 research papers in high-impact journals, including 30 papers in international journals (some of them have been extensively cited; citations totalling over 630, H index-15, i10 index-20), written 19 manuals, handled 6 institute-funded research projects, received 9 awards and fellowships, served as a reviewer for several international journals, and been involved in the treatment of various animals, including wildlife animals such as lions, elephants, monkeys, deers, nilgai, and birds.
Dayamon D. Mathew is currently working as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Wayanad, Kerala Agricultural University. He completed his master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from Veterinary College, Bangalore, Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University and the research was in canine orthopedics. Later he joined Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh for his PhD in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology. His doctoral research was in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine at Dr. Naveen Kumar’s Biomaterials and bioengineering laboratory, Division of Surgery, IVRI. After completion of his doctoral degree he joined Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala as Chitra High Value Fellow for his post-doctoral training. Dr. Mathew then joined the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Kerala, as Veterinary Surgeon. He then opted for a deputation to the Kerala Forests and Wildlife Department, Govt. of Kerala and joined as Assistant Forest Veterinary Officer. He was in-charge of wildlife health in two southern most districts of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. He had Elephant Rehabilitation Center, Kottoor, Thiruvananthapuram, Lion Safari Park, Neyyar, Thiruvananthapuram and Crocodile Park, Neyyar, Thiruvananthapuram under his direct charge. During his tenure in the Kerala Forests and Wildlife department, he earned experience in both captive and free ranging wild animals. Later in 2019, he joined Banaras Hindu University. In Banaras Hindu University, he is a course teacher for different courses of Postgraduate diploma in Wildlife Health Management apart from teaching Veterinary Surgery and Radiology.
Rahul Kumar Udehiya is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. With over 11 years of extensive experience in Veterinary Surgery, Radiology, and Anaesthesia, he has made significant contributions to the field through his dedication to teaching, research, and clinical practice across various prestigious institutions in India. Dr. Udehiya holds postgraduate and doctoral degrees in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Science University and the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, respectively. His research focuses on diagnostic imaging, veterinary surgery, anaesthesiology, regenerative medicine, and wild animal surgery. He has contributed to more than 8 chapters in textbooks, published over 60 research articles, and presented more than 50 abstracts at various symposia and conferences, earning several presentation awards. As a recognized expert in his field, he has received the Associate Fellow award from the Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery and Radiology. Dr Udehiya has also mentored and co-mentored nearly 10 students for their masters and doctoral degrees and has successfully managed numerous research projects as both Principal and Co-Principal Investigator. Additionally, he is a member of the PG diploma in wildlife health management running in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University.
Anil Kumar Gangwar started his career as Assistant Professor, selected as Associate Professor in the year 2012 and joined as Professor in 2015 in the ANDUAT, Kumarganj, Ayodhya. Later he worked as Registrar, DDR and presently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Surgery and Radiology and Director Research in the same university. Dr Gangwar is the Fellow of Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery and Associate Fellow of National Academy of Veterinary Sciences (India). Dr Gangwar is teaching the wildlife courses to the UG students and actively involved in the wildlife surgery. Dr Gangwar developed decellularized scaffolds and used for reconstruction of large hernias in animals first time globally. The work has been published in high Impact factor international journals. He guided 12 MVSc and 03 PhD students and published 103 research papers in reputed peer reviewed journals, 6 books and 21 book chapters. His books are recommended as suggested reading in revised syllabi of post-graduate programmes, ICAR, New Delhi. He is the Editorial board member and reviewer of reputed journal published by Wiley, Elsevier etc. He is the recipient of various prestigious awards including best teacher award.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to GreatBookPricesUK, Castle Donington, Derby, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
