Paperback. What could have happened in South Africa before Apartheid actually took hold? A shocking and exciting view into what might have been. This is a story of an ordinary white South African and his epiphany on what could and would happen as South Africa created its Apartheid laws. Written in the early 1950's, just as Apartheid was being devised and implemented, this short story demonstrates what the educated liberal white people of South Africa were thinking at the time.
