nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - In a small Quebec town, a young mother tries to hold together the life she thought she had built. Angelique spends her days walking snowy streets with her baby daughter, stretching groceries, visiting her in-laws, and waiting for her husband to come home the way he used to. At first the changes are subtle - missing money, late nights, strange silences - but slowly the shape of her marriage begins to shift into something colder and harder to name.As the truth about Jean Philippe unfolds, Chasing a Memory becomes the story of what remains when love collides with addiction, secrecy, and grief. It is a quiet, deeply human novel about motherhood, survival, chosen family, and the long process of rebuilding a self after disappointment has hollowed everything out.Set between rural Quebec and Prince Edward Island, the novel follows Angelique through years of loss, tenderness, and reckoning as she learns that healing is rarely dramatic. Sometimes it is simply walking forward with a child's hand in yours, carrying both sorrow and love at the same time.…
