nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Wherever you journey through the counties of England and Wales, highlands and islands of Scotland, you are never far from a medieval rural chapel or church. The communities they once served may have disappeared and congregations diminished, yet they are still much loved, and all have their own story to tell. Guided from one to another to explore their charms and curiosities, through these pages you will be distracted along the way by much else of interest: from rock cottages to columbarium, a medieval white rabbit to wild cattle, paper bonnets to sin-eaters, hermit's castle to the dwarfie stane. A companion for your own countryside wanders.
