About the Author
Ariane Chapelle is a risk management specialist and award-winning author in her professional field. Her main textbook, Operational Risk Management: Best Practices in the Financial Services Industry, was published in the Wiley Finance Series in late 2018 and quickly became the field's #1 best seller. Translated into French by Pearson, it also received the "Book of the Year 2020" award from risk.net.
As she is transitioning from non-fiction to creative writing, and to honour made to her children, Ariane Chapelle created the adventures of Tempest and Wallace, inspired from the personalities of her youngest children.
Ariane is dedicated to the cause of children and education. All the proceeds from her debut novel, Tempest's Secret (English edition) and Tempete mene l'enquete (French edition), will be donated to the charity Children of Klang Leu, a daycare centre supporting vulnerable children and their families in Cambodia.
Born in Belgium and British by adoption, she writes in both English and French.
Based on the early success of the book, the sequel of Tempest's Secret is in preparation.
