“I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). This book was written so you would question your life as a saved person in relation to people, places, things, and God. This author envisions Changing the Way You Change will prayerfully strengthen each reader’s need for spiritual wholeness while glorifying God with their unique talents and deficits. This book does not offer a theological study of Scripture but is designed to augment how you change, think and transform to be more like Christ. It is meant to be the catalyst for you to examine your inner world to inspire healthier self-management. It will be an internal journey of reviewing your thoughts and feelings that the woes of this world have worn down. This journey will reveal your biases and maladapted core beliefs about yourself and your environment. But first, you must go through the emotional pain of dealing with your character flaws that have fueled your faulty thinking. Constantly indulging your physical senses reroutes your reliance away from God. This created distortions in the form of biases, lies, preconceived notions, etc.
Although you might find some change difficult, rest assured that it is possible as you increase your understanding of God and your will to change. Changing the Way You Change helps clear your mind to pursue whom you were created to be. This book provides personal and practical information to move you to receive the life God is offering. “To man belong the plans of the heart,… All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord” (Proverbs 16:1-2). “The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace... It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.” (Romans 8:6-8). The concepts herein are biblically driven and therefore grounded in God’s truth.
This book was written in good faith and is a work of non-fiction. It provides information based on the author’s education and opinions in psychology, theology, biology, and physiology. As newer research is being revealed, the author and the publisher make no explicit guarantees as to the accuracy of the information contained in this book. The concepts used are the essential aspects of this writer’s message to encourage you to begin a self-evaluation for a deeper conversation with God in your holy place.
