This thought-provoking book examines the profound changes in the American Constitution, arguing that contrary to popular belief, it is not static but evolving in the face of changing societal norms. The author traces the historical backdrop of the Constitution's creation, highlighting the delicate balance struck between national authority and state sovereignty. Through an analysis of landmark amendments, Supreme Court decisions, and ongoing political debates, the book reveals how the Constitution has adapted to accommodate new challenges and societal demands.
