This is a truly an excellent book! This book will have obvious appeal to folks about to get married, especially but not limited to women marrying men, but I found this book quite interesting as a cultural investigation of this issue past and present. I was particularly interested in your discussion of surnames in other countries… I also really appreciated how inclusive you have been in addressing same-sex marriage and the usage of pronouns, etc. Well organized… exemplary.
